A transition checklist from Wall of Flesh prep to altars, evil spread control, ores, mechs, and Plantera setup.

This section turns one family of player problems into a reading route: entry decision first, then individual boss, class, map, database, or video pages. Future content should link back here so readers do not land on isolated articles.

  • Before Wall of Flesh Hardmode checklist: Before Wall of Flesh, handle base safety, bridge, potions, storage, and evil isolation so Hardmode does not start out of control.
  • Altar smashing risk plan: Before smashing altars, decide ore, evil spread, and crate strategy; breaking every altar blindly raises cleanup pressure.
  • Hardmode ore priority: Hardmode ores should serve pickaxe power, armor, and mech readiness first; full transitional sets are not always needed.
  • Mechanical boss prep route: Before mechs, prepare wings, potions, arena, and class-defining weapons, then start with the safest target.
  • Plantera bulb route: Before Plantera, build the Jungle arena before breaking the bulb; improvising tunnels often gets crushed by vines and projectiles.
